I carefully read the materials on this item and it specifically said it would link my camera to the computer but when I received it it did not come close to fitting. Very disappointed.

This was the cable I was looking for....I had even looked on Kodak's websit they did not have it. Works great with my camerea.

Replacement Kodak Cable, 2008-10-22
I bought this cable to allow me to hook up the camera to any computer without having to disconnect my Kodak camera cradle. It works, wish the cell phone makers would use the same cable, it would keep my cable count in the house lower.

I had to Buy this Cable to Go with my Kodak type III Camera Dock for my New Kodak Camera. Kodak doesn't tell you that this Cable will be needed in order to allow the Camera Dock to Download photos to your PC. I sent several E-Mails to Kodak concerning their choice to use a Proprietary Cable instead of a Standard USB cable, Only to get a standard response of where and what cable to buy from the Kodak Website.
Basically I feel if Kodak wants to sell a Camera Dock, The Special Cable should be Included in the Box. Very disappointed with Kodak, Kudos to Amazon.
The 2 Star Rating is for Amazon (a) Carrying the Cable and (b) Selling it cheaper than Kodak. Zero Stars to Kodak.

I purchased an item, USB cable that does not work and can't find a place to get information to return the item. It is not working when plugged into the camera and computer. Not a good review for this item or service. Thanks.
