Having the Error Reporting window pop up every time an error occurs on your computer, asking you to report the error to Microsoft can start to become a nuisance after a while. If you are sick of getting this Error window popping up all the time, then you’ll be happy to know that error reporting can be easily turned off in Windows XP by following these simple steps.
- Go to Control Panel.
- Double-click on the System icon (for Classic View), or in Category View click Performance and Maintenance -> System.
- In the System Properties window click on the Advanced tab, then click on the Error Reporting button.
- In the Error Reporting window you want to choose “Disable error reporting” and click OK, and then OK again to close the System Properties window.
That's it!
